2015 Update

Here is an update of what we've been up to this year!

We've been wearing cool sunglasses.

Mom and Dad bought a new car.  The triplets call it "Daddy's Car", which is true, I guess.

We've had fun with cousins.

We've had fun getting muddy with cousins.

We've had fun getting muddy with sister's.

We had lots of fun visiting Silver Lake many times over the summer.

Silver Lake has become a favorite little getaway for us this summer.  It is a tiny little lake at the top of Big Cottonwood canyon.  It is a nice wide trail all the way around so the girls can walk it themselves.  They love to find the baby ducks and throw rocks.

We had fun getting to know our new cousins Daniel and Rachel.

We went fishing with Grandpa Brown.
The girls were so excited to go fishing.  When we pulled the fish out of the lake they screamed and ran away.  Their favorite part was playing with the poles and throwing rocks.  Of course they all crashed on the drive home.

We ate Cheetos on the patio.
Cheetos are a favorite of the triplets.  Unfortunately they are a very messy snack.

We spent some time with Grandma Merrill.
We were able to meet up with Grandma Merrill in Logan.  We had some lunch at Golden Corral and then headed to the park.  Where else?

We spent A LOT of time at the park.
We try to find ways to keep the girls entertained so they don't drive us or each other crazy.  They love the park so we have spent a lot of time there this year.

We went shopping with mom.
I've discovered that all three girls will fit in the Home Depot car carts.  Yay!

We went cruising in Ethan's mustang!
Our neighbor has a little boy, Ethan who has a mustang convertible.  He will drive up to our driveway and say, "Hi Girls!".  The girls get really excited and squeal and run to his car to get a ride.  It is pretty cute.

Christmas 2014

We had a good Christmas this year.  Annie got a giant Perry the Platypus bean bag chair and the triplets each got a pink trike.  I can't wait until they can get outside with them.  We had lots of fun visiting with family.  Sara and Kason and family visited from Seattle and we loved spending time with them.  Our Christmas holiday was plagued with sickness, though.  We all shared a nasty virus that caused lots of congestion and coughing.  Katelyn and Makayla each had double ear infections.  We found out that Katelyn is allergic to amoxicillin.  She broke out in a terrible rash and wasn't able to sleep at night because she was so uncomfortable.  It is now January 4th and (knock on wood) I think we are FINALLY on the mend!

Happy 2nd Birthday!

My little minions turned two on November 16th.  So of course they needed minion cakes, right?  I can't really tell you if the time has gone by quick or not since they were born.  Some days it feels like it has and some days it feels like it hasn't.  I am still so grateful to have these three little cuties, though.  The most common question I get now is, "Is it getting any easier?".  And the answer to that is, no.  No it is not.  I tell people that it is "different hard".  I know that someday it will get easier.  For now I just try to enjoy the fun times with these little ones.  We had a fun birthday and the girls got lots of fun gifts.  Lily was able to blow out her candles and the other two needed a little help.

Three cute birthday girls.  (The birthday pie was mine.)

Halloween 2014

We had such a fun Halloween this year.  All four girls dressed up as minions.  One of the triplet's favorite movies right now is Despicable Me.  I figured that dressing them up as minions was appropriate since they are about the right size and they sound like minions when they talk.  They loved their costumes and actually enjoyed going trick-or-treating. Katelyn insisted on carrying her own pumpkin bucket while trick-or-treating.  One of the houses we went to gave full cans of pop to the girls which made their buckets really heavy.  Katelyn still carried her own bucket and only fell behind the others a little bit.

A few days before Halloween Nathen's mom and dad took the grandkids to Wheeler Farm.  We had fun looking at all the animals and feeding the goats and ducks. Annie got to pet a cow!  The girls had tons of fun running through the "haunted" maze and climbing on the hay bails.  They thought it was even better because Joshua was there, too.

Annie's Baptism Day

Annie was baptized on Saturday, October 11th.  It was a great day!  We are so proud of her and her decision to be baptized.  After the baptism, brunch and triplet's naps we went on a drive up Big Cottonwood canyon and over Guardsman's Pass to see the fall colors.  It was beautiful!  We had dinner in Heber at the Dairy Keen afterwards.  My Grandma Merrill came along with us and she described it perfectly.  She said it was, "the perfect day".
